All the packing was done last night and who knows if Cory got any sleep. Today was the official day to say our goodbyes and to let Cory start his adventure on preparing to serve the Lord and his children. At around 1 PM, Cory was dropped off at the Provo,UT MTC by his family. It was so cool to see all the missionaries outside to greet everyone and all those who were entering the MTC with Cory that day. We got our last minute pictures before we left and also while we were there and then said our goodbyes. Of course it was hard and there were tears shed, but in the long run we are so excited to see what is in store for Cory. All of this we would not have any other way and we know that Cory is going to grow through the gospel he is about to teach to those in Houston,TX. We are excited for the first letter he will write to us and to hear about the experiences that are just beginning for the next 2 years!

My Testimony
My Testimony:
I know that the Atonement is real and that we can all enjoy the cleansing power that it provides. I am grateful for my Savior for performing the Atonement so that I can return to my Father in Heaven. I am grateful for missionary service. I am thankful that missionaries world-wide have the opportunity to bring the fullest blessings of the Atonement to faithful children of God. I know that the Bible and The Book of Mormon are inspired scriptures and are here for our behalf. I owe everything to all of those prophets of old that loved us so much and desired so much for our salvation to write down the words on how we can be saved. We are literally children of a loving Heavenly Father and He wants us to return to Him. I know that Jesus is the Christ. And I love the joy the gospel brings with the knowledge that we can be together with our families for all eternity.
