My Testimony

My Testimony:
I know that the Atonement is real and that we can all enjoy the cleansing power that it provides. I am grateful for my Savior for performing the Atonement so that I can return to my Father in Heaven. I am grateful for missionary service. I am thankful that missionaries world-wide have the opportunity to bring the fullest blessings of the Atonement to faithful children of God. I know that the Bible and The Book of Mormon are inspired scriptures and are here for our behalf. I owe everything to all of those prophets of old that loved us so much and desired so much for our salvation to write down the words on how we can be saved. We are literally children of a loving Heavenly Father and He wants us to return to Him. I know that Jesus is the Christ. And I love the joy the gospel brings with the knowledge that we can be together with our families for all eternity.

Email Update: April 4, 2011

Hey family! Had a very spiritual high this week and very spiritually draining! I will just jump to the highlights since I have a busy day ahead.

On Saturday I watched the morning session of General Conference, which was awesome. Then between sessions we had Alex Mane's baptism! That was so awesome to see him enter into the waters of baptism! Then after that we watched the second session of conference. After that, we received transfer calls and I found out that I am being transferred out and going down the street (but really it's like right down the street like maybe 2 miles away) to Wheatstone ward.  I am taking Elder Hill's spot but I am super pumped about my new companion. His name is Elder Tobchan, I have mentioned him in past e-mails but he is from Thailand! He and I are very tight - it's ridiculous so I already know that we are going to have fun and work hard! But I am sad to leave Bear Creek and all the friends I have made here but I am down the street so I am not leaving too far. I will be in a different stake and zone, I am leaving the Katy zone and going to the Cypress zone. Then that night we took Alex to the Priesthood session.

On Sunday we watched both sessions of conference and C. Scott Grow's talk on the Atonement just blew my mind! After the sessions we had Kim's baptism! That was way awesome to see this 16 yr old making these life changing decisions on her own even if her step-mom doesn't approve

Well I hope y'all are enjoying the weather and that y'all enjoyed General Conference.
