Hey family! Tis the season to be happy :)
So quick rundown on this week. Unfortunately, Jason and Amanda didn't come to church this Sunday so they will not be able to be baptized on the 24th which is ok because eventually this family will get dunked.
So some exciting news I just got an e-mail from President Pingree saying that if we prefer that we can use an Internet video chat like Skype for example. So let me know what you think about that
Oh and here is something interesting that Dad will get a good laugh from. So this week we were trying to visit some less actives and we went to a man named Bro. D. We showed up and he let us into his house because this day was freezing cold but he isn't much of a gospel guy really. But he had his TV on and he was watching a black and white film and I instantly recognized it! I asked him "Is that Sink The Bismarck?" He said it was and we talked about the film and the history of that story for about 30 min. then after that we were able to share a gospel message. So I don't know if y'all remember Dad was doing his usual pitch on watching an old film that looked boring but insured us that it will be awesome (This was when I was on medical release) Well turns out that film helped me on my mission so Dad can now use this against the younger kids.
Um some the mission plans are so far, that I know of any way, We will be volunteering at the Houston Food bank in their warehouse. There is also a musical fireside that missionaries are performing. And that is all I know so far and I am sure they will take a mission picture too.
I hope Deanna does well with her exams I will pray for her.

My Testimony
My Testimony:
I know that the Atonement is real and that we can all enjoy the cleansing power that it provides. I am grateful for my Savior for performing the Atonement so that I can return to my Father in Heaven. I am grateful for missionary service. I am thankful that missionaries world-wide have the opportunity to bring the fullest blessings of the Atonement to faithful children of God. I know that the Bible and The Book of Mormon are inspired scriptures and are here for our behalf. I owe everything to all of those prophets of old that loved us so much and desired so much for our salvation to write down the words on how we can be saved. We are literally children of a loving Heavenly Father and He wants us to return to Him. I know that Jesus is the Christ. And I love the joy the gospel brings with the knowledge that we can be together with our families for all eternity.
